The Wrecking Ball of the Obama Administration

As the church lady on SNL used to say, in response to Ronald Williams' excellent posting: "Isn't that conveeeeeeeeenient!" Yes, the liberals will bring up religion to villify those who are just fighting for their rights. And it is grand, isn't it, that those same liberals are spending so much time trying to discredit the majority of the American public? The more they squeal like pigs, the more folks jump to the conservative side and say NO...NO to more spending...NO to Cap & Trade...NO to the wrecking ball of healthcare "reform"...NO to more whacked-out liberal ideas and far-out Czars who do not represent one-tenth of the American public...NO to Card Check which will shut down all kinds of small businesses.

And don't think for ONE MINUTE that the Republicans are that much better...we've seen their free-spending ways and out-of-control huge government. When has government control of every facet of life EVER worked? One word answer: NEVER! It didn't work for the Soviet Union, it did not work for Chile when they had a Communist-inspired government, it is not working now for Chavez in Venezuela, and it certainly has not worked in Cuba. All it does is turn neighbor against neighbor, stagnate any and ALL individualism, and make everyone subservient to the State. This is not what we want for our country and, for those who were fooled by "The One's" rhetoric, I firmly suspect it's not what they want either, now that they know a little bit more about Barry. Nobody LISTENED to him pre-election, sad to say. Had they, each would have realized he said NOTHING. It was all a sop to a country tired of George Bush (who I adored and still adore, despite some of the things I did not agree with him about) and the folks believed in the words "change and hope." Now that the direction of this "change" has been leaking out
in dribs and drabs, folks are waking up and are fighting mad, like so many of us were when "The One" succeeded in becoming president.

Do NOT be fooled by what happens during the week's newscasts...watch what happens on a late Friday afternoon or early Friday evening, or even during Saturday and Sunday. THAT'S the time this shameless administration does most of its dirty work! During the week we follow this and that debate in Congress and get our hackles up. But the whip comes out on the weekends when everyone is sleeping....

Read Richard's posting about Zelaya of Honduras...this came out on Friday and was posted by The New York Post (New York City's one and only conservative newspaper) on Monday. Did anyone else pick it up? OF COURSE NOT...at least not to my knowledge...
