Campaign Against Target Bathroom Policy Drives Forward

Life Site News and the Child Protection League teamed up at the State Legislature to announce their new "traveling billboard" campaign against Target.

Target sparked a massive outcry when it released a transgender bathroom policy.

Millions of Americans that are concerned with the safety of women and girls have signed a “Boycott Target Pledge.”

Now, pro-life groups LifeSiteNews and the Child Protection League are joining forces with a new campaign to expose the dangers of Target’s policy.

Retail giant Target has been the subject of controversy over the past several weeks since the company opened their bathrooms to members of the opposite sex, sparking “buycotts” and boycotts across the nation in protest.

Now, a new campaign, orchestrated by Life Site News and the Child Protection League, has taken to the streets of Minnesota seeking to #FlushTarget because they believe the company is endangering women and girls by exposing them to sexual predators.

“They are opening bathrooms to all men, whether transgender or non-transgender,” said Julie Quist of the Child Protection League.

Allowing a man to go into the same bathroom that a young girl is using is child abuse.

The are other ways to accommodate men dressed as women that don’t put us and our young children at risk.

Target’s parking lots seem bare these days. Hopefully, the retail giant will go bankrupt over this.

Comment by Patty on May 18, 2016 at 4:34am: What would any woman on this site do if this man was standing in the woman's bathroom as you walked out of a stall? I would have a heart attack and start screaming, yelling, and running for someone to call the police. Someone who concealed carried may even start shooting. If my husband saw this man walk into a bathroom I was in, he would call the police and who knows what else he would do to protect me. What if you were at a woman's rest stop bathroom all alone and this man walked in? Well this is actually a republican Florida congresswoman's transgendered son who was born a female. According to all of your arguments and North Carolina law - "he" should be using the woman's bathroom. Also last week there was a story where a mom was told she couldn't take her 2 year old son into the woman's bathroom with her at a local YMCA even though she had clarified it with a manager before she joined. Most mother's out of safety bring their sons when they are young into the woman's room when there isn't a father or male sibling present to protect them and keep them safe? Where do these young boys have to go now? Does no one care about boys and them getting molested by men in a men's bathroom where it is far more dangerous and more likely to occur with a non transgendered pedophile? Most transgendered people are also on hormone therapy and many drugs decrease sex drive as a side effect. Maybe everyone needs to stop and think about what they are asking for - this is not as simple as use the bathroom of your birth gender. Just some food for thought.
