Dear Uncle Sam

 

I'm just writing today to tell you my own family's experience with your web site's wonderful book, RIGHT SIDE UP.

 

I purchased the book about three years ago, the hardcover edition, even though my husband, at that time, had felt it was a little "pricey". He now freely admits that it has been worth it....let me explain.

 

When it arrived, I proudly placed it on the coffee table in my living room. (In our business we do a lot of entertaining and I wanted that book to be there, prominently, for all to see.) It became the centerpiece of so many stimulating discussions on very short order. So much so that I have ordered several downloaded versions for our "less than conservative" (lost) friends, having it delivered direct to their various e-Mails. Many of them have subsequently thanked me, in person, I know that several of them have actually voted conservative in the last election, all because of that book!

 

But that's not the most important quality of the book. Being the mother of four kids, all of whom have begun various stages of middle school and high school in the past three years, I have found this book to be a very valuable weapon in giving my own kids the insight they need to counteract the liberal propaganda that is constantly fed into their spongey little brains by the public school system they attend. I went through the same school system in the very same district when I was coming up, but what a world of difference between my formal education and theirs! Its like the twilight zone in the schools these days. Surreal. The book has provided just the counterweight needed to anchor their studies in reality.

 

As a matter fact, it was a posting on this wonderful conservative web site, REAL CONSERVATIVES, that prompted me to order the book. This was at a time when watching Al Gore's 'An Inconvenient Truth' was mandatory. There was a very detailed rebuttal of the whole global warming issue that gave one of my kids the information she needed. She got an "A+" for the work she did on that assignment. The posting, on this web site, gave her the foundational knowledge she needed. (..and, her teacher was revealed to me as being, covertly, a fellow conservative...even though it was a bit "Hush-Hush", you know). Makes me wonder how many parents are out there struggling with the Common Core agenda. They all need your book!

 

Thank you for being there for me and my kids, and for all you do! I hope the other members here realize the value of the service you provide.
