Governor Rick Scott is reviewing H.B. 7117, a bill that gives $100 million in tax incentives for renewable energy, which was passed during the 2012 session. He has until April 14th to decide whether this bill should become law or be vetoed.

Today AFP, the Hartland Institute, Victoria Jackson and a dozen fellow Patriots conducted a press conference in Tallahassee, asking Gov. Scott to please Veto this bad energy bill. To watch the entire press event, click here

We have already received several media hits and positive response. To date we have placed more than 1100 phone calls and more 2000 emails in to the Governor’s Office.

We have only three more days to make the difference! Please continue to push the veto with your organizations members. More importantly, please personally call the Governor’s office and tell them the membership numbers in your organization and that you are asking the Gov to veto HB 7117.

There are only 14,000 signatures so far. Everyone needs to get involved and get every signature possible onto this petition so Congress takes notice. If approximately 50% of Americans question these documents, then there should be thousands of signatures, Send this out to ALL of your contacts – this is a good way to get people to look at Arpiao’s investigation and whether President Obama is being truthful with the American people. You could change a vote in November by opening up this dialogue with facts.
