Editor’s Note: As news outlets from the Drudge Report to the Washington Post ruefullly point out , today’s the day when,  for the first time,  the Federal Communications Commission’s rules would prevent Internet service providers from blocking or giving preferential treatment to Web sites on their networks.

Legions of bloggers and news site publishers everywhere are worried today that the Information Highway may be made inaccessible for average Americans, an impact should it happen, that will impact the world.
