The Columbia University Trial; An Open Letter from American Grand Jury

Tentatively, American Grand Jury will plan on doing the following:

1) We will be in New York for the trial. Personally, as leader of American Grand Jury, I will make the trip in May. We will take with us a number of jury members. Who would like to join me in New York?

2) In New York we will conduct a “live” Grand Jury in addition to the Trial being held by Dr. Manning. Specifically, that means we will not interfere with the Trial but only observe, record evidence and assemble at the end of each day to discuss, argue and decide upon the evidence in a private Grand Jury setting. We will not vote on our Presentments until the Columbia Trial is concluded.

3) Additionally, American Grand Jury will conduct an “online” Grand Jury in conjunction with the “live” hearing. In order to effect this we will “stream” the audio portion of the New York hearing to all of our registered jury members in a private password protected website. The number of members that can participate in the “online” Grand Jury can be in the hundreds. Registration for the “live” and “online” Grand Jury hearings can be taken now.
