In effect, she’s saying she would use prosecution as a weapon to protect Muslims from others employing their First Amendment rights.

Seemingly, her greatest fear at the time was not another Paris, or San Bernardino, but “anti-Muslim rhetoric,” instead.

Speaking at Muslim Advocate’s 10th anniversary dinner, Lynch said since the terrorist attacks in Paris last month, she is increasingly concerned with the “incredibly disturbing rise of anti-Muslim rhetoric … that fear is my greatest fear.”

The fear that you have just mentioned is in fact my greatest fear as a prosecutor, as someone who is sworn to the protection of all of the American people, which is that the rhetoric will be accompanied by acts of violence. My message to not just the Muslim community but to the entire American community is: we cannot give in to the fear that these backlashes are really based on.

Lynch made it clear that she shares those concerns, but vowed to use the DOJ to protect Muslims from discrimination and violence. Noting the rise in violence against Muslims and mosques in the wake of the Paris attacks, Lynch added that, “When we talk about the First amendment we [must] make it clear that actions predicated on violent talk are not American. They are not who we are, they are not what we do, and they will be prosecuted.”

As for San Bernardino, yesterday at a press conference, Lynch said it presented a “wonderful opportunity” for change.

UPDATE: Loretta Lynch, at a press conference yesterday, termed the San Bernardino shootings a “wonderful opportunity” to change the nature of police work: “We’re at the point where these issues have come together really like never before in law enforcement thought and in our nation’s history and it gives us a wonderful opportunity and a wonderful moment to really make significant change.”

What about Black Lives Matter and their violent anti- caucasian rhetoric - hate speech???

Recent news reports of racial extortion and attacks on free speech on some of our elite college campuses have raised questions about the meaning of higher education in America today.

The “safe spaces” demanded primarily by black students are also spaces free from diverse ideas and from critical thinking itself, especially about race. And if the “cry-bullies” protesting what they call racial insensitivity don’t get their way, they turn to behavior that exposes who they really are.

Case in point: the Black Lives Matter thugs who recently occupied the library at Dartmouth College, yelling “F--k you, you filthy white f----s!” and other threats at the students studying there.

It is not a pretty picture. But there is a less discussed but even more disturbing issue also stalking our universities today—the presence of activist groups acting as mouthpieces for Islamist terrorism who are given funds and other support by campus administrators as they spew their message of hate.

The David Horowitz Freedom Center recently concluded an intensively researched, carefully documented report on The Top Ten U.S. Colleges Most Friendly to Terrorists. They are Brandeis University; Columbia University; Harvard University; Rutgers University (New Brunswick); San Francisco State University; University of California, Irvine; University of California, Los Angeles, University of California, San Diego, University of Michigan, and University of New Mexico.

The ten case histories in this report present a disturbing picture of campus communities—among them some of the most prestigious colleges in the country—where Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) and the Muslim Students Association (MSA), both of which were planted in the U.S. by members of the Muslim Brotherhood, are allowed to promote a terror agenda.

They sponsor annual campus hate-fests called “Israeli Apartheid Weeks,” whose sole purpose is to demonize Israel in terms dictated by Hamas and to promote the destruction of the Jewish State.

Both SJP and MSA are also chief sponsors of the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement, whose goal is to kill the Jewish State by economic strangulation, the first step in the ultimate goal of exterminating the Jews “from the river to the sea.”

The SJP and MSA and other groups with different names but similar agendas are nothing more than megaphones for Hamas’ ideology of genocide. But administrators at these ten schools treat them as legitimate members of the multicultural campus community, giving them offices, funding and political free reign. In doing so, these administrators are spitting in the face of their own rules and regulations which would stringently deny such support, say, to the Ku Klux Klan or other such organizations whose only objective was stigmatizing a group and fomenting violence against it.

I have sent copies of this report on Colleges Most Friendly to Terrorists to the Presidents and Chairs of the Boards of Trustees of these ten schools, along with a letter calling on them to withdraw the funding, office space, and other symbols of respectability given to these groups whose objectives mock the intellectual purposes of the university and who use the campus as a staging ground for attacks on Jews, the Jewish State and U.S. national security.

The question is simple...

Are our elite academic institutions going to continue to appease front groups for terror, or are they going to stand up for the principles of free speech and open inquiry that would expose groups like SJP and MSA for the Islamo-facists that they are?

Are they going to continue to fund these groups and give them political “safe space,” or will they withdraw the support these radical Jew and America haters extort from them?

It is no exaggeration to say that this is a battle for the soul of higher education in America today.
