Republicans are no longer our party of choice but in a 2 party system how does that work when the only other option is democrat?

Laura Ingraham – Forget What You Used To Think You Knew – Republicans Are Not A Conservative Party

Laura Ingraham describes the process of lame duck politics, in which we see the political process at its worst, as being obviously not a good deal for the American people. If it had been we’d have seen action like this before the election, not after it.

She notes how John Boehner would like to see all of that “icky governing stuff” go away, and this omnibus bill does just that. Shazam, no negotiations necessary.

Laura Ingraham says that what she expected from conservatives was a new dawn after the midterm election cycle. They were going to do budgeting in a new way and it was going to be done department by department so we could see how they are spending our money. That didn’t happen.

Bill O’Reilly says reminds Ingraham that the Democrats are still in control of the Senate and that maybe things will change next year. Ingraham replies, “No, the people who think they’re going to do it next year are the same people who think pro wrestling is real, okay? They’re not going to do it next year. They’re going to come back into session next year and they’re going to have almost all of the government funded through the end of September. It’s insanity.”

Asked why the Republicans aren’t reforming the waste, Ingraham says, “What we as Republicans, as conservatives have to understand is that right now the Republican Party is not a conservative party. It’s mostly the party that is dominated by groups like the Chamber of Commerce…They’re basically an open borders party, they want all of this immigration, amnesty, cheap labor, a lot of stuff that’s good for big business.”

She says, “I get that but it’s not good for the middle class of the country.” She then raises the questions that middle American citizens are asking themselves in light of their supposed representation by what they thought was a conservative Republican Party.  They’re asking, “Why is this good for me and why is this even Republican?”

She sees a tough sell for Republicans in 2016 with a party leadership such as they now have, who has sold out the American people.

I think it's time we start voting "THIRD PARTY" or at least find someone who will campaign on conservative issues.

We're going to be told that if you vote for anything but Republicans you're going to end up splitting the vote and the democrats then win.
