WRAP UP 2012 RIGHTONLINE CONFERENCE
One thing that is sure in life is that all good things must come to an end. Such was the case with The Americans for Prosperity “RIGHTONLINE” 2012 Conference held in Las Vegas.
Day two was just as gr
eat as day one, and the excitement was in the air during both days of the conference.
The Saturday session began with a Very refreshing Continental Breakfast. Then we were off to the Opening session at nine o’clock. This session included such speakers as Art Pope, Michelle Malkin, Hug Hewitt, Guy Benson, and Roget Hedgecock.
Breakout session One began at 10:30 A.M. and we were treated to such topics as “Freedom & the Internet”, “Preaching Beyond The Choir”, “Social Media, Smarter”; and Information Activism. There was also a forum on “On Camera Television Training,” Sponsored by the Leadership Institute.
The Breakout Two sessions were “Government Gone Wild”, “How Culture Drives Politics”. Supperblogging”, and “Investigative Reporting. Need I mention that the panels were very informative and exciting?
Now comes the part where everyone san show off their skills. Lunch was served in the main ballroom as we were treated to speeches by Tracy Henke, U.S. Representative Joe Heck, Jonah Goldberg, Lars Larson, S.E. Cupp; and a Q & A Panel.
If you bought a book there was another book singing session at 2:00 P. M. just before Breakout Session 3.
These Breakouts included such topics as “Kitchen Table Economics”, “The Power Of Polling”, “Mastering Multimedia”, and “; Citizen Driven State & Local Coverage.”
Next on the agenda was Breakout Sessions Four, which included such topics as “Obamacare in 2022”, Lights, Camera, Blogger”, Digital Activism”, and “Video Activism” with James O’Keefe.
The final forum of the day was Nuts & Bolts of Campaigning before the much anticipated Cocktail Reception.
The main event of RIGHTONE, The Closing Diner was held from 7:00 P.M. until 9:30 P.M. This diner is the main event and as people began making their way to their tables many began to talk about the list of invited speakers. We were treated to Tim Phillips and Erik Telford, Erik received a very nice award from AFP & RIGHTONLINE for his role in heading up the past conferences. (Yeah Erik!)
Heading off the list of speakers was Rusty Humphries, then Dana Losech. They were followed by Jon David Kahn, The Presentation of The Andrew Breitbart Award for Excellence in Online Activism and Investigative Reporting, Scott Rasmussen, Teresa Oelke; and Ann McElhinnery, who is always a crowd favorite.
As I roamed through the hallways and into Radio Row I ran into some very interesting people such as Michelle Malkin, Ann MvElhinnery. Rusty Humphries, Bill Whittle of PJTV; and the Politichicks. I was able to get in on a video clip with them to express my take on The "Predators In The Pulpit" Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson. We also hit on a few other topics. look for it here soon:
