Andrew Napolitano on Obama’s killing of Anwar al-Awlaki without Constitutional due process: “We live in a time in which the government recognizes no limits on its own power,” he said. “It doesn’t recognize the natural law. It doesn’t recognize the federal law. It doesn’t recognize the Constitution. The president in the past couple of weeks became judge, jury and executioner for a very hated and probably guilty individual. But the Constitution says no person shall be denied life, liberty or property –much less an American which this guy was– without due process of law. The killing of an American is unforgivable under the Constitution, and it is an impeachable offence- and the president, if not being impeached, should be indicted for it after he leaves office.”
I share Andrew’s sentiments on this issue. I also object to Obama’s contribution (in conjunction with both the UN and NATO) to the killing of Mouammar Gadhafi for much the same reasons. And whatever Gadhafi’s faults, I firmly believe that the people of Libya will be much worse off without him.
Did Gadhafi have the best interests of his people at heart? You needn’t look any further than his amazing water project intended to ensure Libya’s agricultural independence. Contrast this mammoth water wonder with the colossal damage the Obama administration has wrought in California’s Great Central Valley.
Make no mistake. The international banking cartel (crime syndicate) wanted Gadhafi removed because of his intention to enthrone the gold Dinar as the new African currency. Contrast Gadhafi’s monetary policy with the Obama administrations trashing of the US Dollar AKA the Federal Reserve Note.
Unrestrained government has never been the friend of individual liberty, especially when such a government employs murder, tyranny and self-serving myopia- all of which have been the unsavory characteristics of modern tyrants like Joseph Stalin, Adolf Hitler and Mao Tse Tung. An extreme view? Only if you are sympathetic to tyrants…
Our late summer ended on 23 September. I had predicted that Obama would himself be removed from power by that date. Not so! And for the life of me, I cannot understand how even in our weakened Constitutional republic such a criminal imposter (who has increasingly deserved the appellation of “antichrist”) still clings to power!
Just as a severe economic downturn doesn’t really become a full blown depression until you, yourself, are out of work- perhaps the unconstitutional murder of American citizens (no matter how despicable such individuals may be) is of no personal consequence until you (not only your neighbor) are targeted for extinction by an out-of-control federal government.
Treason? Indeed! And I remind you that one need not be a citizen of the United States to be guilty of treason.
Carlisle v. United States: “Aliens domiciled in the United States owe a local and temporary allegiance to the government of the United States; they are bound to obey all the laws of the country not immediately relating to citizenship during their residence in it, and are equally amenable with citizens for any infraction of those laws. Those aliens who, being domiciled in the country prior to the rebellion, gave aid and comfort to the rebellion were therefore subject to be prosecuted for violation of the laws of the United States against treason and for giving aid and comfort to the rebellion.”
Given Barry’s temporary residence in the White House, the above Supreme Court case applies to his crimes of treason. And while some may be content to await Obama’s ouster by voice of the people next fall, I am not.
Moreover, the profound silence of our Congress and also a blind eye turned by our federal judiciary regarding Obama’s continuous treasonous activity (from siding with foreign governments against our Southwest to empowering the Muslim Brotherhood in the Middle East) constitute nothing less than duplicitous complicity…
