Morality and Commerce... a foundation for prosperity.

We are our brothers keeper... we should NEVER take because of privilege and power. The blessings of wealth carry with them a GOD given or moral responsibility too deal EQUITABLY with others... rich and poor alike. The moral man, who doesn't believe in God... also, understands his moral duty and social responsibility to engage in fair and equitable exchanges. Our social and cultural prosperity depend on such moral exchanges in commerce.

It is not a Marxist or Socialist view too deal justly in commerce... too use an equitable scale and equal measure... too, take only what one EARNS. Windfalls or profit taken without adding value to the economy takes without a moral right. What happened to making money the old fashioned way... by adding value to the system?

Both labor and capital have a responsibility too deal equitably in commerce... neither should take advantage of the other... moral and Godly commerce call for equity in the distribution of wealth. The rich have a special charge (if you are a Christian) too deal fairly and equitably with the poor and their laborers. Capital is not to 'take' simply because it can... Capitalist, are to reap only their PORTION of the wealth, which is created by the endeavor of both capital and labor.

Distribution of wealth is a moral dictum ... it is the Judeo/Christian ethic that prescribes the best methods for commerce and wealth distribution. One is too give a days labor for a days wage and the rich are not to muzzle the Ox. Prosperity is best found in a commercial system of capital and labor where both parties are equitable in their dealings with the other. Privilege and position should not be used to leverage an advantage; too, take where one has not added value.

Godly and moral men in the earth... know the difference between equitable trade and exploitation of commerce. They deal in equitable exchanges only. God is not fooled and those with wealth know how they earned their wealth, the same goes for labor. In the end no one will escape an unjust balance or scale, now or hereafter. There are earthly and eternal consequences for immoral commercial transactions.

Capitalism is the best system of commerce... but it must be REGULATED BY A MORAL PEOPLE or it will degenerate into a FEUDAL SYSTEM OF PRIVILEGE AND INEQUITABLE EXCHANGE RAPIDLY... a system where labor barters for jobs and wealth is distributed by privilege, position, and power; rather than, moral equity in commercial exchanges.
