NEVER TOLERATE TYRANNY!....Conservative voices from the GRASSROOTS.

I am happy to see that so many Patriots are marching to Washington on 9-12. But on 9-13 Robert Reich is calling on all the liberal supporters of the Health Care Bill to counter our March with a March of their own. They plan to use Grandparents Day to push this bill that is not in our Senior Citizens' interest. Here is the Article. from Politico

Robert Reich, the former Labor secretary, scholar and commentator, called Tuesday for a “march on Washington” on Sept. 13 —“Grandparents Day” — in support of a health care bill that offers a public option.

While he said organizing was not his strength, he would be prepared to assist. “If enough people feel that’s the best way for their voices to be heard, and can’t be heard in any other way, then we march,” Reich said in a reader question-and-answer session in POLITICO’s Arena.

A group of conservatives have already announced a “tea party” movement march on Washington for Sept. 12. An opposing march the next day, if one were to materialize, could make for an interesting weekend.

Reich’s suggested march is the latest manifestation of liberal anger about signs that the Obama administration may be willing to live without a public option if it means a health care bill can become law. “Very few things happen in Washington that are in the public's interest when corporations have huge financial stakes in the game, as they obviously do with health care — unless the public is actively involved, engaged and organized,” Reich wrote. “We won't get a public option, or anything close to it, unless people who feel strongly about it make a racket.”

The “first step is to be very loud and very vocal: Write, phone, e-mail, your congressional delegation and the White House. Second step: Get others to do the same. Third step: Get voters in Montana, North Dakota, Nebraska, and other states where Blue Dog Dems and wavering Senate Dems live, and have them make a hell of a fuss. Fourth step: March on Washington.”

He suggested the morning of Sept. 13 because “that's a Sunday, and it's also Grandparents Day. I've just become a grandparent, and I'm worried as hell about the kind of world my little granddaughter is inheriting. “

OK---American Patriots---continue the "Tea Party" on the 13th, as well. Get out there grandpa's and grandma's---you know what "Obamacare" (in its present form means) rationing of care, the repeal of Medicare---not nearly the quality of care you now have. Even if you're at home---get out on your own streets (around America) with your signs. It's up to our senior citizens whether we save our healthcare system, I think. The Dems need to know our senior citizens are going to revolt and leave the Democratic party if they try to push through the government takeover of healthcare. Americans are smart, they can't be fooled. They know it will cost way too much, and be very destructive to our country.

Have you ever wondered that "The One" and his cronies are out to totally destroy America and remake our glorious country into a socialist state? If you crush industry (oil and gas, pharmaceutical, auto industries, healthcare, etc.), you will have more and more Americans beholden to the Federal government for their very existence. The return of welfare with swollen rolls will be the norm, and we will all miss Clinton who changed welfare to workfare for the betterment of not only the nation but the folks on the welfare system who became PRODUCTIVE and SELF-SUFFICIENT.

If you think the so-called gap between rich and poor is wide now, it will be a cavernous divide when the tax man comes rolling in to tax us to pay for all the nefarious programs currently wending their way through the system: (1) Government healthcare -- we know what that will do to the economy; (2) Cap & Trade -- an onerous tax on the consumers of electricity in this country and it will also have a negative impact on all industries which use electric power as they will be forced to pay huge tax increases and will be forced to lay off people for the sake of their bottom line; (3) Card Check -- a means by which the unions can swell their rolls. This, in turn, will make things MORE expensive for consumers and will create layoffs as companies become unionized with their sometimes grotesque demands. Remember the auto industry and the bailouts? Were folks appalled to learn what the retirees get? This will GET WORSE as the unions succeed in signing folks up without the private vote. Imagine the thugs and rabblerousers from ACORN and SEIU coming to stand outside your home as you say a resounding NO to signing up for whatever union wants you as a member....scary...

As an aside, Barney Frank is pressuring the lending institutions of this country to RELAX their rules for folks getting mortgages.... Wasn't this the ROOT CAUSE of the collapse not only of the housing business but of America's financial stability? He hasn't learned yet...

We are at GREAT PERIL now and must keep up the great efforts we, as ordinary American citizens, have made to stop the madness in this country. We ARE making a difference! We are trillions in debt and do NOT need to go trillions more into debt to satisfy this gang of thugs.

Please keep up the good work with your blogs, calls to the government, faxes, letters, and sound discussion with your friends and acquaintances. And please attend the teaparties in your area and, if you can, joint so many of us at the 9/12 rally in Washington.... It will be spectacular.

The mainstream media and the folks who supposedly represent all of us in Washington may say we're lunatics or whatever else they want to call us. But I'm proud to be called a lunatic rather than a village idiot who lays down and gets steamrolled by this administration!

FreedomWorks not free: $10K to participate in D.C. tea party march

FreedomWorks, the conservative group organizing much of the "tea party" movement, has riled allies by charging hefty fees to participate in a Sept. 12 March on Washington aimed at bringing the movement's broad anti-government agenda — notably, opposition to health care changes — to Capitol Hill.

FreedomWorks, which is chaired by former House Majority Leader Dick Armey, is charging other groups a minimum of $10,000 for the right to distribute material to the activists gathered for the march, and to attach their own names to the event. The group has raised its rates from an initial fee schedule, which would put a group's name on the website for free, and would allow it to distribute materials for $2,500.

Groups can also pay to have a speaker address a rally and workshops, with $10,000 securing a prime Saturday afternoon speaking slot, according to the fee schedule, obtained by POLITICO and printed after the jump.

The organization is citing the event's increasing cost in justifying the increased price to conservative allies, one of whom disclosed the details to POLITICO.

"Their 'organizing' is tending to dominate and overformalize what would’ve otherwise been a more 'freelance' protest," wrote the conservative, who also complained of FreedomWorks' move to "own" the entire event by controlling access both to workshops and to the march itself.

A spokesman for FreedomWorks, Adam Brandon, didn't immediately respond to telephone and email messages inquiring about the pricing.

Some groups, however, appear to have paid up. Though most are listed on the event's homepage as "Bronze" sponsors — the free level of involvement, which is no longer available, the National Taxpayers Union came in at the $10,000 "Platinum" level, while the Tea Party Patriots, the conservative social network ResistNet, and California Republican Howard Kaloogian's Our Country Deserves Better PAC each ponied up at the $5,000 "Gold" level, while the Institute for Liberty got access to the protesters at the $2,500 "Silver" level.
