According to Dudley Brown, Executive Director, National Association for Gun Rights, President Obama has effectively circumvented my 2nd Amendment rights and affected a defacto gun ban by decree.

I am referring to a report that states that President Obama signed an Executive Order to prohibit re-importation of approximately 1 million M-1 Garand rifles & carbines used by U.S. and Allied Forces during the Korean Conflict.

Make no mistake, these rifles were made in America, by Americans, for Americans, to defend freedom on foreign shores and are greatly sought after by American shooters and collectors.

State Department officials claim these antique, collector, rifles could be used to commit crimes. What a crock! That is pure Male Bovine waste matter, the likes of which is readily available in quantity in many Kansas pastures and feedlots!

While the radical anti-gun crowd is giddy with praise for Obama’s dictatorial coup, this unprecedented gun grab amounts to nothing less than an unconstitutional back-door gun ban and law-abiding citizens across the United States will not stand for it.

I strongly urge the Kansas Congressional Delegation to introduce and support legislation to rescind this bureaucratic block banning the importation of M-1 Garand and Carbine rifles from South Korea, and pledge to support the continued sale and import of these iconic, American made, rifles.
