Isn’t it time to restore our Constitutional freedoms?

Internet hackers and the Progressive attackers!

With the recent breeches in Internet security, many people are scrambling to protect themselves from nefarious lowlife Internet hackers who make sport of harming people.  These lowlifes hide behind the Internet to display their ‘brilliance’ and impose their power.  If these lowlifes would invest the same amount of effort in doing something constructive, how much better off would all of us be?  With all of their attacks upon our Constitutional freedoms, aren’t the Progressive miscreants in government even more injurious to the American citizen than are the lowlife Internet hackers? 

Isn’t it time to restore our Constitutional freedoms?  There are several sayings that are attributed to a great President from Illinois …, Abraham Lincoln, that are in alignment with the concepts our country was founded upon:

• You cannot help small men by tearing down big men.
• You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong.
• You cannot lift the wage earner by pulling down the wage payer.
• You cannot help the poor man by destroying the rich man.
• You cannot keep out of trouble by spending more than your income.
• You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred.
• You cannot establish security on borrowed money.
• You cannot build character and courage by taking away man’s initiative and independence.
• You cannot help men permanently by doing for them what they could and should do for themselves.

Haven’t the Progressives violated each of the above nine sayings?  These concepts apply to situations as well as humans.  Consider our energy situation.  How does limiting drilling for oil, making it very difficult to receive approval to drill for oil, or refining oil help us become less dependent upon imported oil, or make ‘green’ energy more affordable?  With coal-generated energy, how does making it more expensive make ‘green’ energy more affordable?  How does this make jobs in both industries more secure?  Are we not finding that ‘green’ energy produces its own ‘pollution?’ 

Consider the signature legislation of the Obama regime, ObamaCare, which was rammed through Congress against the will of the people.  How does increasing the cost of healthcare benefit individuals or employers?  Why does this stealth-care have to be prefunded for four years, if access to healthcare is the intention of the bill?  If this bill is so ‘fair,’ why are there so many exemptions to this bill?  In fact, shouldn’t everyone receive an exemption, if even one does?  How does creating an environment that encourages physicians to retire early and discourages young people from entering the health field make healthcare more accessible to the average person?  If this bill is so beneficial, why has Congress exempted itself from this un-Constitutional legislation?

How does limiting the ability for a private company to operate where it chooses to do so encourage companies to maintain operations within the U. S., keeping Americans employed?  Has anyone within the Progressive movement ever heard of ‘the law of diminishing returns?’  Do they realize that the more items cost through direct taxes or indirect taxes, in the form of fees or increased costs of doing business, this leads to fewer receipts of the precious resource of tax revenues?  The list of similar questions about issues that affect our freedoms and wallets everyday is lengthy. 

Just as we despise those who harm us for sport via Internet hacking, shouldn’t our politicians also be held accountable for their actions, or inactions, that are detrimental to those they are to serve?  An inability to answer the questions above satisfactorily reveals either ineptitude or a sinister ulterior motive by those who are stealing the American dream.  There is a reason certain Presidents stand above their peers.  Obviously, President Lincoln understood human nature and our need for freedom, regardless of race, creed or color.  Let’s make sure our government is serving us in alignment with the concepts upon which our country was founded, separating us from all other countries from around the world.  Let’s begin making the American dream available once again!
