IMPORTANT: GET OUT THE VOTE TUESDAY (November 8th)

I hope that you will help get information out about the election Tuesday (that's tomorrow).  Even if you do not live in a state with elections, you probably have contacts who do.

Kentucky, Mississippi, New Jersey and Virginia have in-state elections.  Louisiana's in-state election is November 19th.  There are, also, some special elections.

Arizona has a recall of a State Senator related to immigration; Michigan has a recall as punishment to a fiscally conservative State Representative.

But most important of all are ballot issues, especially in these three states:

• Maine's Question 1 reads: Do you want to reject the section of Chapter 399 of the Public Laws of 2011 that requires new voters to register to vote at least two business days prior to an election?
• All of Mississippi's ballot measures are important and will probably be challenged in court, so check them out.
• Ohio's number 2 would repeal a measure which limits collective bargaining for public employees, and number 3 would exempt residents of Ohio from national health care mandates.

All ballot measures are important to their own states, but the above issues will end up affecting us all.

I am mostly worried that the people who gathered the petitions will be 'fired up' and will get the vote out and that too many conservatives will not even be aware and will not bother to vote.
