Good morning, America.

I will tell you now that I was in Williamsburg, Virginia on Friday for the funeral of a dear old friend of many years who had passed away unexpectedly. It was my distinct and unforgettable honor to sing “Amazing Grace” at the brief graveside service that followed the lovely church service. Please remember to always speak your love to those you cherish in mortality. We never know when one of them, or perhaps we, ourselves, might suddenly be called Home.

The words of the poet William Wordsworth ring in my ears this morning:

“Our birth is but a sleep and a forgetting:
The soul that rises with us, our life's star,
Hath had elsewhere its setting,
And Cometh from afar;
Not in entire forgetfulness,
And not in utter nakedness,
But trailing clouds of glory do we come
From God, who is our home…”

Last night, I went to a church meeting in New Windsor, New York. The main speaker was an old Tongan friend of mine- another “dear old friend of many years.” If I told you his name, you would all know of him- but I’ll keep that information to myself. I arrived at the meeting a few minutes early and was able to find a seat in the front of the chapel- where I could hear clearly what would be said. When I saw my old friend on the stand, I walked up and softly called him by his first name. He hugged me and said he loved me. I will cherish our brief conversation forever.

When it came time for this great religious leader to speak, he said something that I feel inclined to pass onto you this morning. He said that in these tumultuous times, these “Last Days” preceding the Second Coming of our Savior, it is more important than ever that we “minister” to each other- meaning that we teach each other, help each other- and most importantly LOVE each other.

Remembering THAT admonition, my Patriot friends, is how we will save, with the help of Almighty God, our beloved Republic.

As you’ve likely heard, Bobby Kennedy’s son, Robert Fitzgerald Kennedy, Junior, is running for President on the Democratic side- challenging “you know who” for the nomination. I’d especially rather not mention THAT fellow’s name this morning. Anyway, Robert is an honest man- and I respect him. I may not agree with him on everything, and for sure I’m still firmly voting for Donald- but I do RESPECT this 69-year-old Democrat, even though he’s considerably younger than myself. More importantly, Robert is going to HELP us. And yes, I admit poor Robert SOUNDS LIKE he’s even older than the other guy.

Anyway, please hear me out. Please!

The ancient Latin proverb "Amicus meus, inimicus inimici mei" translates “My friend, the enemy of my enemy,” or as you are more accustomed to hearing it, in the reverse order, “The enemy of my enemy is my friend.”

As you may recall, I’ve been asking for Donald and Ronald to stop attacking each other. Those two giants, in my humble opinion, should be “Team #1.”

Now, I don’t think Robert has a prayer of beating “the other guy” for the Dem nomination, but even if he DID, Donald would still have a better chance of winning. Why? The conniving Globalists would fear an honest Democrat even more than they do the Trumpster- which puts the damper on bogus ballots. The point is, my friends, please regard Robert F Kennedy, Junior as our FRIEND. This may be just the answer to our prayers!

“My friend, the enemy of my enemy!” And maybe Robert will put a few of those nasty “Never-Trumper” RINOs to shame.

PS: Going into the West Point’s Stoney Lonesome Gate last night, my favorite policeman was there. I told him that I’d made my living reading faces and that I knew two things about him- that he loved Jesus and that “Don’t mess with me” was written all over his face- AND that anyone who DID mess with him was “a crazy fool.” He laughed heartily. This tall black giant of a man always has a smile, and I had been hoping to see him at the gate. Loving Jesus and one another is ALWAYS the answer.
