Congratulations to the Collection of Dumb So-called Representatives in Congress as They Prove How Stupid They Are when it Comes to Punishing Corporate Business

Well, I suppose congratulations are to be given to the Congress as Ken Lewis departs from Bank of America. The bozos won and business will suffer. The Pay Czar is almost set to release his "findings" of what corporate pay should be to those firms which accepted TARP....another round of congratulations will be awarded after this comes out. Where will the Pay Czar stop? Like a roulette wheel, no one knows. Once again, folks who continue to work hard and have worked hard with some success will be PUNISHED for that....while, on the other hand, we have the non-workers who will BENEFIT from the blood, sweat, and tears of those of us who worked hard all our lives and have reached our own modicum of success.

Is it ANY WONDER that there are millions of folks in this country who DO NOT WORK? They suck at the teat of the local, state, and federal governments with GLEE. Why work when you can get anything you want for FREE??? Just lie back, watch the telly, and eat like a king on your taxpayer-funded bed.

If you're a union member, you've got it made in the shade...no worries...hard work, yes...but you're protected with the current person occupying the White House (the PEOPLE'S HOUSE). Your union heads have raped and pillaged your retirement account? NO PROBLEM....the government will protect you. Your retirement accounts have been halved by the current stock market downturn? NO PROBLEM...the government will protect you. You're afraid that as a retired union member some of your benefits will be reduced? NO PROBLEM...the government will protect you.

WELL, WHO THE HELL PROTECTS JOHN and JANE Q. PUBLIC in this country? We're on our own...but we do have an advantage... We can VOTE THE BOZOS out...

By the time "The One" and his minions get through, big business will be small business, and small business will just plain disappear as more and more control takes over their every breath of life. They will die on the vine of mandated this, that, and the other thing.

And the CONSUMER? Ah, well, the consumer must buy things...and those "things" will become more and more costly until the life is choked out of the consumer as well.

So it begins...but it WILL END.... Election year 2010 will be a tsunami to some, and those folks will drown in the derision of the American public (John and Jane Q. Public). We will sweep these bozos out like the trash they are...

The increasing scorn with which they address the citizens of this country, AKA, those for whom they work [or are SUPPOSED to] is so arrogant and in our faces it makes me sick.
One of our guys manned up and shouted "YOU LIE" to Obama when the pres was again, pushing his [not yet written] health care proposal the outrage was heard around the world but when one of theirs accuses republicans of wanting old people to either "not get sick or if you do, DIE QUICKLY".

It is just a shame that in the private sector when an employee turns out to be a disaster, he/she can be fired at the appropriate time. When our elected senators and congress people turn out to be disasters, we have to wait until their next campaign and election cycle to give them the 'boot'.

The funny part is that they are racing to pass this pile of excrement before the end of this year as they know it will never fly in an election year. Some of these morons could rape, murder and drown puppies and kittens on ALL of the TV stations during prime time and keep their place in congress.
Pelosi, Boxer, Dodd, Frank, Murtha et al: and does anyone believe that anyone other than another Kennedy will fill 'Old Teddy's shoes?[as well as his barstool] Those people are the best arguement to date to pass term limits.
When people settle in to an all too comfortable spot in our nation's capital, they sell their souls to stay there and relish their new found sense of self importance and superiority. They work for their own interests such as committee appointments and other positions of increasing power.
Their jobs were never intended to be permanent positions. The senate can have two terms [if they can't get it done in 12 years.......tough!], the house can have no more that 6 terms, also 12 years in DC.
The cushy pensions and forgiveness of non payment of taxes stops. They can save for their retirement just like the rest of us. If they decide that they don't have to pay taxes they will be tried and punished just like the rest of us. ANY law they pass will apply not only to the peasants but to those imposing those laws......ALL of them.
