Of Saruman, Uruk-Hai, and Rep. Thaddeus McCotter

While watching Fox News on Sunday I was treated to video of the newest entrant into the GOP Presidential field, Rep. Thaddeus McCotter. It seems Mr. McCotter feels it is disrespectful for we Hobbits to refer to the more liberal and moderate Republican members of Congress as RINOS.  Speaking on behalf of the Shire Community, Mr. McCotter, if our elected Republicans did not morph into Democrats the term RINOS would not exist.

The battle for our existence as a free people is raging against our own Saruman (Soros) and his disgusting creations, the Uruk-hai and Wargs (Obama and Democrat Congress); yet the rallying cries for faux Conservatives such as Mr. McCotter are “bi-partisanship” and “compromise”. A check of the Hobbit dictionary failed to turn up either word.

It could be the voting record of the gentleman wishing to govern the Shire that causes him such distress over the term RINO. Among the highlights of his sterling accomplishments in the House are his yes votes on the following bills:

• The auto bailout
• Reauthorization of the SCHIP Program
• Unemployment Extension bills
• Passenger Rail Investment Act
• The Omnibus Public Land Management Act
• Great Cats and Rare Canids Act (100% of funds go to foreign countries for wildlife research)
• Crane Conservation Act (80% of funds go to foreign countries)
• Pre-Disaster Mitigation Act
• John Conyers sponsored Family Self-Sufficiency Act
• Mortgage Reform and Anti-Predatory Lending Act (HUD and ACORN)
• Christopher Dodd’s Helping Families Save Their Homes Bill
• The TSA Authorization Act
• Maxine Waters Hope VI Improvement and Re-authorization Act (Public Housing)
• Public Transportation Act

The list of the Unconstitutional bills he has helped pass into law, just in the last few years, spans several pages and adds up to more than $2 trillion dollars.

The way I see it Mr. McCotter, it is we Hobbits who should be offended by your actions.
