America has undergone a dramatic transformation since the shocking events of the 911 attack. Although many argue about the exact nature of the attack and who really perpetrated the crime, it currently remains irrelevant to the drastic transformation of American society. War was declared on Afghanistan and shortly after Iraq. America has been at war for nearly a decade with no real victory in sight. World War II took six years and encompassed huge areas over the entire world. The reality that America and the Western World cannot win a war over a decade against arguably minor powers and rag tag defense should really cause a great deal of introspection. Billions upon billions have been invested and spent on military technology, thousands of bases and an alleged power never seen previously in recorded history. The reality remains that somehow the Western World can neither prosecute or win a war against even the smallest most despotic and disorganized nations in the world today. So either we have the most incompetent generals of all history or the wars are a method of funding the military industrial complex. Imagine if General Patton was prosecuting the Afghanistan war. The war would have ended years ago. Likely in the first six months, maybe even 3 months. In the interim, America is very much beginning to resemble a fascist police state in the name of “security”. The security complex is exploding with every sort of invasive surveillance plans, invasive technology and gestapo like measures to “secure” America from a handful of religious nut jobs. America is now so weak, that a few madmen can hold the entire nation hostage and in a constant state of fear. Fear so intense the citizens are willing to undergo body searches and x-ray bombardment just to board a airplane. America the strong, protector of democracy, free speech, individual freedom and legendary fearlessness has transformed into America the trembling, weak and incompetent willing to give up all semblance of freedom and individual rights. Americans are now weaklings, trembling and cowering under the skirts of the latest security complex bureaucrat. Early post WWII movies depicted the Gestapo as an evil force and all trouble began with the chilling statement “your papers please”. Today it has become your papers, your wife and children’s bodies and genitalia, your DNA, your retina scans, your computer records, your emails, your telephone calls, your private associations, your political opinions, your medical records and really every single invasive thing that can be dreamed up by the blood sucking security complex. Today America is far beyond the oppressive and chilling tactics employed by the Gestapo. The only part of the Gestapo method not adopted yet is the torture, imprisonment and mass killing of all who oppose the power. Wait a minute, we do have the torture and imprisonment and former President George W. Bush recently admitted that he ordered it and approved of its use. So what really remains? The mass killing.
