All Aboard Obama’s Transformation Train

“All aboard!” yells the conductor, from the steps of the car just behind the powerful locomotive looking back down the line for late boarding passengers and finally signaling the train’s engineer that it’s safe to leave the station.

Giving a couple of loud blasts from the train whistle, engineer Obama can hardly contain his excitement knowing the locomotive’s engine will soon be stoked with some new “freebies” from Obama-Care, helping to make his Transformation Train virtually unstoppable once it leaves the station.

The Transformation Train is scheduled for departure from its most recent whistle-stop on August 1, 2012. That’s when the “ Women’s Preventative Services” of the “Affordable Care Act” (Obama-care) kick in.

And if you think it’s a coincidence that these “free” services for women are scheduled to be implemented before the November election, think again. Come August 1^st, millions of women will be boarding the Transformation Train, and for the first time be able to schedule free well visits to their doctors, get free contraception (including all FDA approved birth control and emergency contraception - the morning after pill), free breast feeding exams including all necessary equipment, free diabetes and domestic violence screenings and free anything else remotely connected to any of these preventative care practices.

So how difficult is it going to be for the Republican presidential candidate and all the other Republican candidates to wage a successful campaign to totally repeal Obama-care and take away all these new life-changing and sometimes even life-saving benefits from millions of women who will have recently had their entitlement ticket punched for a “free” ride on the Transformation Train?

Did you happen to catch the movie “Unstoppable?” It was about a run-away train heading straight for disaster. Amazingly, Denzel Washington and his co-stars were able avert disaster by derailing the train in the nick-of-time. Well that was a movie, but the Transformation Train is all too real, and derailing its Whistle-Stop Dependency Tour of America will take even more amazing feats of courage, danger and skill than Hollywood could ever dream up.

Unfortunately, when Obama’s Transformation Train leaves the station August 1^st with millions of women added to the millions of other dependent Americans that have boarded since the Whistle-Stop Dependency Tour’s inaugural trip in January 2009, it will be nearly impossible to stop it from arriving on schedule at its final destination.
