We have yet to realize the true story of the JFK assassination, including the killing of Lee Harvey Oswald, the murder of Robert Kennedy, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and then to move forward to the 9-11 attacks. It has taken more than sixty years to unravel the truth about the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941, and we still don't know the whole story.

The bigger the government and the more powerful the people at the top are, the less we will know, truthfully, about why and what really goes on in this country and the world around us. If those in power want something buried, it will be buried and any trace of the truth will be so tainted that we may never know what has been hidden from the American people. The bigger and more powerful the people are, the more control over the truth they have and the deeper the hole is in which that truth has been buried. By the way, where is Jimmy Hoffa?

My generation was taught about mom, the flag and apple pie and how great our nation was from its founding to the present place in time ( I grew up in the fifties and sixties for the most part). We were fed a load of propaganda that basically said that we were squeaky clean and the greatest nation on Earth. The last part may have been somewhat true, but there is always a but..... The United States hasn't been squeaky clean in anything we have been involved with since our independence, and as time passed and the power people became more business orientated rather than statesman, the more the shine wore off until we have what we call our country of today. Don't take me wrong: I love this nation and would gladly die in her defense, but as a patriot (and I was a patriot before it became popular), I must be realistic about where we have been as a nation and where we are going.

Our founders served this nation not for the money, fame, perks, airplanes to take us from coast to coast for the weekend and to the Big Apple for a date. They served because they loved the country that was forming and they wanted to help for it into a nation that their children and generations of other children could grow up free and safe. Sadly that is far from the case today. We have elected an illegal alien as president and he has filled countless positions with individuals who are hell bent on destroying the nation we so dearly love. Guess what: They are succeeding! If (the largest word in the dictionary) we had elected representatives who actually served the people, the entire congress, the president and most all of the department secretaries would all be behind bars. Better yet, they would never have been elected in the first place nor appointed to any position other than dog catcher.

We have made the election process into a popularity contest and not one which considers who will do the best job representing THE NATION as a whole. Take a close look at some of the “good old boys” that have been in office for decades because they served their country well, but because they served the special interest the most. Murtha was the first Vietnam Veteran to be elected to congress. I'm a Vietnam veteran and that's nice, but he outlived his usefulness to the nation several elections ago and should have been retired like an old tire. John McCain is another one. He, in my mind, is a hero for what he did and survived during the Vietnam War, but..... (there it is again). McCain just came out with a new bill which will give total control of supplements to the FDA and we all know that the FDA couldn't find their butt with both hands in a dark room. He's just another closet democrat. Money and special interests run our election process and will from now to the end, and this is a fact that we must all admit to ourselves. Our grassroots efforts will make some changes, but the government is a living thing and it is corrupt and to change that, the government we know today must be killed and restarted using the very basics or founding fathers used and established. The Judicial system must go through a complete overhaul and the politics removed and never allowed to return. The Electoral College must be abolished. All states must have a sovereignty clause in the state constitution and the list goes on.

We have learned a lot in the past thirteen months and what we have learned must be incorporated into our new for of government (God willing we should survive that long). Political parties cannot be allowed to become so large that the vote of the people is negated due to the influence of special interests at any level. It must be a government OF THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE AND FOR THE PEOPLE, not of, by and for the corporations or unions or foreign countries and that means getting the UN the hell out of our country and us out of the UN.

The present administration and its minion must be buried this fall and damaged to the point that their position is useless to their agenda. We CAN do it, but talk is cheap and action is time consuming. We have less than ten months to get ourselves together and act as responsible Americans and not the complacent morons who vote for the party or for the most charismatic face on the tube.

Come on AMERICANS, lets give them hell!! SEMPER FIDELIS.

We're learning . . . . . the times are changing . . . . . the internet is giving us information and a national communication system we've never had before. This time in history, we may MAKE history. With patriots like Richard Alan Jenni connecting the dots and Dave Breitenbach charging us with historical perspective we're moving as a cohesive group, patriots, compelled by our love of country, to do what has been lacking for generations, buried by what has become the greed of politics.
I am hopeful, I am proud, I am willing.
