NEVER TOLERATE TYRANNY!....Conservative voices from the GRASSROOTS.
by Sharon Rondeau
(May 29, 2013) — On April 12 during a television broadcast, commentator Glenn Beck read from a letter which detailed a law enforcement training program given by the Colorado State Patrol covering the topics of “Sovereign Citizens” and motorcycle gangs.
The author of the letter reported that the training program lasted for four hours, with two hours dedicated to each of the two topics.
A state patrolman who taught the class described “Sovereign Citizens” as those who interpret the Bible literally. “That would be me,” Beck interjected after reading that portion of the letter. “Those who believe that America was founded on godly principles” and “fundamentalists” were also considered “sovereigns,” according to the officer.
The trainer was quoted as having taught that citizens who do “not go along with the changes” occurring in America must be controlled by law enforcement. “He was clearly teaching that the groups he had listed should be watched by law enforcement and should be treated with caution…” Beck read from the attendee’s letter.
The “election of a black president” was cited as something to which a “sovereign citizen” objected.
The officer was reported to have said that he obtained the information in the curriculum “from the Department of Homeland Security” and that he had recently accepted a position with the agency to which he would be transitioning in the near future.
After concluding his reading of the letter, Beck stated that Americans have the right to speak about their beliefs as guaranteed by the First Amendment. He then asked his audience incredulously, “Are Christians who believe in the Bible…extremists?”
On April 30, 2012, The Post & Email broke national news when it reported on the “Sovereign Citizen” training program assembled during the summer of 2011 which was being used with Tennessee law enforcers. The program contained slides which disparaged people standing up to government corruption, including Walter Francis Fitzpatrick, III and Darren Wesley Huff, who lodged their objections to corrupt grand juries, judges, court clerks, doctored transcripts and false arrests in Monroe County, TN three years ago.
The training materials were produced by a collaborative effort of the U.S. Department of Justice, the Bureau of Justice Assistance, the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), the Tennessee Fusion Center, the FBI, and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI).
Huff is in federal prison serving a four-year sentence for a crime that he did not commit, and Fitzpatrick has been jailed locally in Monroe County on five occasions.
The Post & Email had contacted Beck’s The Blaze and briefly described Fitzpatrick’s discovery of systemic corruption in Tennessee more than a year ago but received no response. Fitzpatrick had been included in the training program after attempting a citizen’s arrest of the Monroe County grand jury foreman for serving in the position for 28 years at the behest of a local judge. Fitzpatrick subsequently discovered that the Tenth Judicial District’s judiciary was operating in violation of laws passed but never observed regarding juries and criminal courts.
Huff was labeled an “extremist” after he was convicted on a federal firearms charge in October 2011, despite the fact that he was not in the location where corrupt Tennessee officials had reported him to be when he allegedly planned to “take over the courthouse” on April 20, 2010, the day of a hearing for Fitzpatrick. No violence occurred, and, in direct contradiction to an affidavit signed by FBI Special Agent Mark van Balen, no one was arrested or identified as having carried a gun.
In 2009, Fox News reporter James Rosen was named by FBI Agent Reginald B. Reyes as a “criminal co-conspirator” in an alleged investigation of a nationa lsecurity leak, although he was not prosecuted.
No eyewitnesses, of his movements on April 20, 2010, were called to testify on his behalf.
In February 2009, a report issued by the Missouri Information Analysis Center (MIAC) identified supporters of then-Rep. Ron Paul as “domestic terrorists” and “right-wing-extremists.”
A report issued in April 2009 by DHS claimed that veterans returning from war theaters, those dissatisfied with the election of “the first African American president,” and the state of the economy could become “domestic terrorists.” The report cites “extremist members of the militia movement” as as being agents of the radicalization of others.
Other veterans have reported intimidation and even forced incarceration by the Obama regime. The case of former Marine Brandon Raub generated a lawsuit filed last week in which attorneys from The Rutherford Institute representing Raub wrote that he was “seized, taken from his home and detained without probable cause and in violation of the rights guaranteed to him by the law of Virginia and by the Fourth, Fifth and/or Fourteenth Amendments of the United States Constitution.”
A statement issued eight days after the DHS report includes a statement from Janet Napolitano that “We are on the lookout for criminal and terrorist activity but we do not – nor will we ever – monitor ideology or political beliefs. We take seriously our responsibility to protect the civil rights and liberties of the American people, including subjecting our activities to rigorous oversight from numerous internal and external sources.”
Napolitano also attempted to reassure veterans that they were “honored” by DHS.
Earlier this month, an IRS supervisor “apologized” for the politically-oriented targeting of Tea Party, 9/12 and other groups viewed as “conservative” prior to the release of an Inspector General’s report which revealed that such targeting of groups applying for non-profit status had been ongoing for at least two years.
Obama has a record of silencing his political opponents. Also this month, a search warrant issued in 2009 for two days’ worth or emails and phone calls of a national reporter, James Rosen, was made public which accused him of acting as a “criminal co-conspirator” in the case of an alleged national security leak.
Under the U.S. Department of Justice, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) reiterates the alleged characteristics of “Sovereign Citizens” as Bible-believing and quoting from the U.S. Constitution and U.S. Supreme Court cases.
The IRS targeting of Tea Party and other groups has been cited as having had a possible effect on the outcome of the 2012 elections.
Hitler blamed Germany’s problems on the Jews and persecuted, arrested, falsely imprisoned them in concentration camps, and then gassed or starved them to death.
He was very effective at spreading propaganda.
