then your mother CHOSE LIFE...

She had no fear of the world or its strife!

She needed no Supreme Court decision

‘ didn’t need no E.R.A. ...didn’t need no "NOW"

She just gave you life, ‘ cause God showed her how

Whether or not she was someone’s wife

...she just chose LIFE

She never had to hear your voice

...she just made her choice

Your life wasn’t hers to take or give,

it wasn’t hers to keep..

So..dream on child, dream and sleep

for she just let you live!

She brought you forth in sacred love..

she saw the miracle, sent from above

and gave you birth...she knew of your worth

She didn’t need to see your sound

to know she wanted you around

Praise God for your ears, for songs you will hear

Praise God for your eyes, be strong and be wise;

allow not your youth to blind you from truth..

Give honor to your Father’s wife

who loved you so

that SHE CHOSE LIFE!
