A lovely account about your horses....  in my case, my daughter began Pony Clubs at 8 with a 13h cross-Welsh/QH that taught her everyhting about ornery ponies. My wife had an all-black 16/1h TB/QH that went through Combined, then Dressage training with my daughter. She then trained with an English trainer who let her ride her own horse trained at the higher Dressage levels (Prix SG) and that's how she won 2nd place at the youth regionals (TX,OK,NM,KS,AR). She subsequently sold her horse to pay for her last year in Engineering School. But, once horses get in your blood, it's forever!  South Carolina has plenty of horses,so we're always looking for acreage, and dreaming, because the weather around here is great.... .no more frozen water buckets!  I love the photos of your classy warmbloods.  Did you braid or is the mane cut short?
